Feds Plan to Delay Foreclosures

In another attempt to slow an economic downturn feds have announced they plan to give more aid to home owners who are in trouble. It is called "Project Lifeline". The project will include many types of loans not just subprime. Six of the nations largest financial institutions are part of the plan. Home owners in trouble will receive a phone call and the mortgage companies will put the proceedings on hold for 30 days while they make the payments more affordable. It is a reach to help some people with a way out.
