When buying or selling real estate it is often beneficial to work with a strong team. Agent teams are often better able to manage your needs and service you in the best way possible. If a team is set up correctly then certain parts of the business will be assigned to individuals strong in those areas. Individual real estate agents have to be at least competent in every aspect of the business. Teams will find people who are good at specific parts (i.e. contract negotiation, marketing, operations) just like any other business and they will have those people do what they are good at.
A team also has fewer feast or famine months so they are concerned more with you buying the right house or selling your house correctly instead of just getting the deal to go through. Be sure to interview your team and ensure they are on track with your goals.
