I have to admit I normally cheer for UNLV. However, when BYU comes to town I bleed blue. My alma mater still draws my cries.
The game on Saturday was quite entertaining. The two teams stayed close until half time but afterwards the BYU running game halted the Rebels. The Cougars won 24-14 at the sell-out crowd of Sam Boyd Stadium.
BYU moves to 4-2, 3-0 in the conference while UNLV moves to 2-5, 1-2.
The cougs had 27 more plays than UNLV and dominated the momentum and the time. Had it not been for multiple turnovers BYU would have made a stronger statement. Regardless of the outcome, these two teams always put on quite a show.
